Michael McCleve Bronze Brutalist Sculpture
While working at the foundry at the Cosanti Foundation, Native American artist Michael McCleve was included one of the first features of native art in a national US magazine, Art in America, in 1972. This abstract bronze sculpture, about 30” in height expands in every direction and makes us think of a small desert creature, prehistoric or modern day.
Condition: Excellent original condition; steel has oxidized naturally over time.
