Ceramic chalice vase by Aldo Londi for Bitossi, Italy, c.1960s. The vase features a wide curvaceous upper section that sits atop a thinner convex stem. It is covered in a muted turquoise lava glaze with underlying lavender accents. The upper portion has a hand painted argyle pattern made of thin blue and yellow lines and a matching pair of horizontal blue and yellow stripes that accent the top rim of the vase. Marked with Bitossi ID numbers and [Italy} on interior of body.
