Don Knorr for Vista of California Dresser
Dresser by Don Knorr for Vista of California, c.1950s. This four-drawer dresser features a mahogany case with painted steel drawer pulls and tubular steel frame.
Don Knorr attended Cranbrook after obtaining an architecture degree and went on to work for Eero Saarinen and won a design competition at MoMA in 1948 for a chair design that Knoll began producing in 1950, as well as designing furniture for Vista Furniture of Anaheim, CA in the 1950s and 60s.
