Pair of Jacques Guillon Cord Chairs
A pair of delicate accent chair by French designer Jacques Guillon, a pioneer of design in Quebec Canada. Designed in 1953, the nearly transparent design consists of three interlocking wooden pieces - stacked maple plywood faced with a contrasting walnut veneer - joined by a wooden dowel, and strung with taut nylon cord that provides the framework and cushion of the chair.

19" width x 22" depth x 33" height; seat height is 18".
Condition
Excellent vintage condition; wooden elements have been hand cleaned and polished, and the nylon cord has been replaced according to the original design.
