Designed in the 1970s, these brass floor lamps by Cedric Hartman are an enduring design classic. The modernist floor lamps feature brass dome shades attached to curved aluminum stems that offer focused task lighting. The arched poles terminate into heavy brass t-bases. The lamps have a half circle Lucite dimmer switch. Discreet legs allow the lamps to “hover” just above the floor, exaggerating the counterweighted arc of the central support. Bottom of bases are engraved with designer signature and serial number.

Good vintage condition; brass has developed a natural patina and has not been polished in accordance with the wishes of the designer. Minimal cosmetic wear, appropriate to age and use.
