Danish Rosewood Case Sofa by Jydsk Mobelvaerk
A brightly-colored case sofa by Jydsk Møbelværk, a late-1960s contemporary of the better-known Milo Baughman design. The sofa has a three-sided case in boldly figured Brazilian rosewood, and the long, horizontal design appears to float above the ground on four chrome-plated square legs with rosewood feet. This example retains the original upholstery, a period-appropriate raspberry striped textile. Manufactuer's label stitched into frame beneath seat cushions.
