Swiss 1970s DS-11 Sectional by De Sede
By De Sede
An ingenious design intended to grow with its buyer, the De Sede DS-11 features nearly infinite modularity. This example has two curved end-pieces, a corner unit, and three interior modules to form an L-shaped sofa. De Sede emphasized the size of this model as much as its modularity; it was engineered with a low back to provide maximum comfort while evading the visually imposing dominance of most sectional seating. Caramel-colored upholstery fits tight to the outer sides of the sofa, while the fixed seat cushions have a hand-stitched, quilted cover for a patchwork effect.
Condition: Excellent vintage condition; professionally cleaned and conditioned. Leather is patinated with signs of appropriate wear.
Dimensions: Overall footprint measures 116” long x 92” wide x 25” tall; each module has a depth of 33” and a seat height of 15”
