An outdoor chaise lounge by designers Hendrik van Keppel and Taylor Green, better know as Van Keppel-Green or VKG, manufactured in California, c.1950s. Van Keppel-Green furniture was heavily featured in Julius Shulman's documentation of the Case Study House program. Photos of Case Study #22, Pierre Koenig's Stahl House feature this chaise in the exterior shots. This chaise came from the original owners of John Lautner’s Louise Foster House in Sherman Oaks, CA.

Condition

Excellent restored condition; frame professionally powder-coated. The chaise has been re-strung with cotton cord according to the original design.
