Nine Drawer Dresser from Raymond Loewy’s “Accent” Line for The Mengel Company
A “Triple Dresser” from Raymond Loewy's 1952 "Accent" collection for Louisville-based Mengel Company. The dresser has a slim case of mahogany wood on four angled legs of iron with discreet rubber feet. The slatted front of the dresser is comprised of six drawers with brass pulls. In accordance with the original design, the case is natural mahogany with ebonized drawer front. The metal hardware has been powder coated black to match the wood.
Condition: Excellent restored condition; professionally refinished and ebonized. All hardware has been powder coated.
Dimensions: 48" length x 17.5" depth x 31" height. Each drawer measures 23.25" wide and 7" high.
