Artek’s Model 406 lounge chair designed by Alvar Aalto. The cantilevered frame is a bent birch wood that gives the seat a floating effect. The chair is finished in a natural colored woven canvas strapping. Three straps have been replaced on the seat offering a playful contrast. Stamped IFC on the underside.
