A three-seat sofa by Brazil-based Romanian designer Jean Gillon, produced by Italma in the 1960s. The sofa has a slatted frame of louro preto wood - a dark tropical laurel with a straight grain pattern, strung with black leather straps. The strapping supports three oversize leather cushions, with foam molded to fit over the wooden frame. The armrests are fitted with two molded cushions upholstered in matching leather. Tufted cushions have proprietary wooden buttons covered in leather.

Condition: Good vintage condition. Cushions are upholstered in original black leather, which carries an age-appropriate patina and signs of use; foam cushions have been replace. The frame has been hand cleaned and oiled.

Dimensions: 87" length x 32" depth x 31" height; seat height is 17".
