Danish Modern Bookcase in Teak and Oak by Børge Mogensen

A modest but exceptionally functional bookcase designed in the 1940s by Børge Mogensen for FDB Møbler and produced in cooperation with C.M. Madsens, a cabinetmaker based in Haarby, Denmark. The case and adjustable shelves are bright teak wood, and the base of square legs and sculpted diagonal supports is made of contrasting oak. Fitted with three shelves and pre-drilled holes for maximum adjustability. Back panel retains the FDB Møbler stamp.
Condition: Excellent restored condition; refinished and hand-oiled.
