Danish Viking Bottle Opener by Carl Bent
A wooden Viking bottle opener by Carl Bent comprised of turned teak and maple elements, metal and braided rope. Did you know that Vikings actually never wore horned helmets? Me neither until I researched these statues. Has a “Made in Denmark” waxed seal attached by rope. His arms are made of a hemp braid rope which hold a maple shield in place in front of his teak body. Maple legs and teak feet complete his lower half and affixed atop his head is a custom cut head of hair and beard (faux fur of course) sitting under a patinated bronze helmet that serves as a bottle opener and is intended to protect our hero in imminent battle.
