Gerald McCabe Twelve-Drawer Dresser with Laminate Top
A late 1950s custom-built dresser by California designer and craftsman Gerald McCabe has a walnut body with a white laminate top. The case contains six large, deep drawers with walnut panels next to a single stack of six smaller drawers painted in a contrasting, semi-gloss gray. The drawers have modest round pulls in brushed steel. The dresser appears to float above the floor on four square, steel legs. Rear panel is finished in walnut.
Condition: Professionally refinished with new paint on drawers. Original laminate top has been cleaned and polished but shows some wear.
