Poul Knudsen Teak and Brass Nutcracker
A very clever design dating back to the 1950’s, this Poul Knudsen teak and brass nutcracker utilizes a piece of bent brass that acts as a spring mechanism making it possible to crack an entire bowl of nuts in under 2 minutes (we know, because we tried). You don’t need to reset after demolishing each shell, the spring action of the brass strip, attached to the teak arms, returns the piece to its resting position, ready to destroy whatever comes in its path next. The tapered arms fit comfortably in any hand size and reminds me of those hand strengtheners jocks used in all your favourite high school set 80’s movies. In fact, in the off season, why not replace your unsightly hand grip with this beauty?
