Rosewood and Leather Armchair by Bent Andersen for Christensen & Larsen
Designed in 1960 by Bent Andersen for Danish manufacturer Christensen & Larsen, this captain chair has a distinctive frame with high, flat arms that widens into a sculpted backrest, encased in patinated black leather. The wide seat is upholstered in a matching black leather. Turned rosewood legs taper towards the feet and armrests. Where the back legs meet the frame, the delicately joinery is stylistically exposed.
