Small Murano Glass Dish by Venini
A small Murano glass dish by Venini, in a design commonly attributed to Carlo Scarpa, the company’s artistic director in the 1930s and early 40s. This modest bowl has four slightly bowed sides and rounded corners. The deep teal blue glass is slightly thicker at the bottom, with the slight irregularities that signify the handmade provenance of all Murano glass.
Retains Venini acid stamp, “Venini Murano” on the underside.
