Terrazza Sofa by Ubald Klug for De Sede

Made in Switzerland, this is one of Ubald Klug's most renowned pieces. The 1970's "Terrazza" sofa for De Sede is a multi-tiered modular sofa composed of seven graduated leather-wrapped cushions set on a rectangular wood base. Ubald Klug presented his design for the “Terrazza” sofa to De Sede in 1972 based on inspiration he found in the terraced fields of the Alps. The original black leather on this sofa has been cleaned and conditioned.
