Finn Juhl 'Fireplace Chair' for Bovirke
Designed in 1946 by Finn Juhl for Bovirke, the Model BO-59 lounge chair is a rare design equally comfortable as it is beautiful. This piece has been fully restored in collaboration with Elizabeth Law of Elizabeth Law Design. Born and raised in South Carolina, Law draws inspiration from the discoveries of her travels and the old world.
Newly reupholstered in a Pierre Frey fabric selected by Law for its contemporary feel while keeping the midcentury era in its color way. The teak chair features sleek curved armrests that cascade into the chairs delicate legs. The base of the chair sits upon a cross bar detail that tapers outwards.
