A 'Sirocco' safari chair designed by Arne Norell in 1966 and produced by Scanform in Colombia, a company licensed to manufacture the Sirocco chair for export to the US. This example features a solid rosewood frame strapped together by camel-colored leather slings with brass fittings. A removable tufted leather cushion sits on the lower sling. Originally designed for "knock down" construction, the chair can ship flat if necessary.
