Fireplace tool set designed by Mel Bogart for Felmore, USA, c.1950s. The set features three wrought iron fireplace tools with a stainless steel disk detail near the handle, all set on a matching base topped off with a brass ball. A staple in modern design, this was selected by MoMA for their "Good Design" program of 1946-1955. Bogart's pieces were specified for use in multiple Case Study Houses by Craig Ellwood , Joseph Eichler, and Richard Neutra.
