Child's chair, by Gaetano Pesce for Fish Design, c.1998. Crafted from Pesce’s signature medium; flexible, colored polyurethane resin cast around a concealed steel frame. Each piece was individually cast by hand using a liquid-resin technique, so no two chairs are identical. The unique irregularities in the yellow framing, deep forest green backrest, and midnight blue seat make this specific chair a one-of-a-kind functional artwork.
