Set of six dining chairs designed by Poul Kjærholm for E. Kold Christensen in 1955. Originally, the series PK-1, -2, and -3 referenced a complete line of steel-frame chairs with the seat material indicated by the model number (1 is done in wicker, 2 in leather, and 3 in flag halyard) though they are now all marketed under the blanket model PK-1. The chair frame itself is petite and composed of bent tubular steel in a black powder-coated finish. The chairs’ splayed legs are fitted with a small, rounded dome glides to protect flooring.
