"CH66" Double-Cantilever Patinated Side Chair by Nicos Zographos

Originally designed in 1966 by Nicos Zographos, the "CH66" side chair is a tour de force of precision engineering. It bridges the gap between raw Bauhaus functionalism and the refined luxury of late-20th-century corporate and residential design. Unlike traditional, single-loop cantilever designs of the early modern era, the "CH66" features a tubular chrome subframe directly beneath the seat. This creates an incredibly stable, rigid support structure while preserving the signature, floating aesthetic of a true cantilevered silhouette.. The backrest and seat are the original thick black leather sling upholstery. Over time, the heavy-stitched leather gained a beautiful, supple character while maintaining its structural tension and ergonomic comfort.
19.5" width x 21" depth x 30.75" height; 18" seat height
