Gerald Jerome Caned Lounge Chair for Heritage

Lounge chair by Gerald Jerome for Heritage c.1960s, USA. This ebonized mahogany frame features a caned scoop seat and seatback. The "x" base has two brass stretchers and each foot is finished with a brass capped toe. This design was featured in the Pasadena Art Museum "California Design Ten" 1968 catalogue.
