"Guardsman" Table Lamp by Bert Dickerson for Faries

American Machine Age "Guardsman" desk lamp, designed in 1936 by Bert A. Dickerson for Faries Manufacturing Company of Decatur, Illinois. The lamp features a mushroom shade that rests atop a flared trumpet neck. The lamp ahs the original "Normandy Bronze" lacquered finish over the solid brass and steel lamp.

13.5" diameter x 17.5" height; 6" base diameter

Good vintage condition; patina consistent with age and use; newly rewired.
